Over the course of the last year, life has rapidly changed in ways we could have never imagined. We are learning and adapting as we find ourselves in an ever-changing environment.  Therefore, in concert with local health officials and incredible staff at Wild Dunes we have developed a series of protocols and procedures to allow our guests to enjoy Pesach 2021 with their families.

This year will not be like other years but we are dedicated to doing our best on all fronts to assure guests a safe, enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Wild Dunes Resort has worked with Hyatt’s team focused on operations during the pandemic, complimented by Hyatt’s collaboration with medical experts from Cleveland Clinic and other trusted industry advisors to fine-tune COVID-era operating procedures. As a leader in the industry, you can trust that we and Wild Dunes have set the highest standards for safety. Our operating procedures are centered entirely around safety, transparency and trust. This approach allows guests to travel with complete confidence. Wild Dunes is offering the safest, cleanest accommodations, with the security of the Hyatt Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment and Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation – the gold standard for prepared facilities.    ·       

Peroxide-based EPA-approved EcoLab cleaners, proven to treat coronaviruses, are being used with increased frequency to disinfect all high touch surfaces; public areas; and guest rooms across the resort. Further, Wild Dunes has instituted the use of MaxCharge Electrostatic Sprayers in our standard disinfecting protocol. Electrostatic technology delivers charged droplets that are actively attracted to surfaces with a complete wrap-around effect, for full disinfection coverage. Finally, in all accommodations a unit rest period has been implemented between reservations to allow microscopic particles in the air to rest before comprehensive cleaning & disinfection is conducted.     ·       

• Plexiglass shields have been installed throughout many areas of Wild Dunes to ensure safe social interaction.·       

• Public space etiquette, including within elevators, includes capacity limitations. Signage is placed throughout indicating ·       

• Many spaces have been carefully configured to limit gatherings.·       

• Daily housekeeping is included and will only be carried out if the unit is vacant, as per hotel and program policy.  Housekeepers wear full PPE when the unit is serviced.·       

• Many accommodations are private and accessible via exterior (outdoor) entry and most are equipped with full kitchens and dining tables allowing guests the comfort of eating and spending time in their own homes. ·       

• Procedures will continue to evolve to meet the changing landscape, based upon current health conditions and CDC/government regulations.·       

• A Resort Hygiene team, led by a Hyatt-trained Hygiene Manager, has been implemented to ensure that safety protocol & training is properly executed.·       

• Contact-free concierge service is available 24/7 by sending requests via text message to 843.620.2162.

Pesach Program Protocol·       

• Socially distant dining options include: outdoor dining, semi-private dining with room dividers, private dining or in-residence dining, with fresh meals delivered 3x daily.   ·       

• All buffets are attended by face-masked employees and equipped with plexiglass.  Guests will have the option of having all items packed to go sealed. ·       

• At over 1600 acres Wild Dunes offers miles of pristine beach and several spectacular pools and recreational amenities allowing guests the option of partaking in many socially distant and relaxing activities including biking, tennis, jogging, swimming and sunbathing.  ·       

• All programming will be socially distant located in specially constructed spacious open-air tents. 

• This includes prayers services, lectures, children activities & evening entertainment.  ·       

• Face masks and social distancing will be required in all indoor public areas including buffets and whenever social distancing is not possible.   ·       

• Daily temperature checks are required for all children, toddlers and infants attending day camp, nursery or teens programming. ·       

• Daily temperature checks are mandated for all Pesach program staff and Wild Dunes employees.
